ACTING & SCENE STUDY - PRACTICAL WORKSHOP​

Join us for a hands-on acting workshop focused on scene analysis and developing strong, intentional character choices.

Many actors rush to performance — but skipping scene analysis and proper character work can mean missing the heart of a scene. We will explore this essential (and often overlooked) step of breaking down a scene, then getting on your feet and acting. A scene will be sent in advance.

Your work can be taped on the phone in class or professionally in our Self tape practice class at a discounted rate.

A safe, playful space for self expression and exploration, providing a chance to push yourself out of your comfort zone in a non-judgemental environment. There is a real sense of community in these workshops outside of classes. At the workshops I attended there is a good balance of Improv, and scene work with a chance to get feedback.
Actorverse challenged and elevated my skills as an actor. It not only enriched my acting but led to personal growth as I was encouraged to fully embody characters, see what their motivations are and really push myself.
I cannot recommend these workshops enough for going beyond the surface and honing in on your craft!
I had learnt more than in any other scene class i had taken, and had opportunitties to stretch and challenge myself. Polina is very informative, and creates a brilliant energy in the room. I would recommend this workshop to everyone.
